Claude Design Lets You Prototype by Talking to Claude
Anthropic just dropped Claude Design — a new research preview that builds prototypes, slides, and one-pagers through conversation. Here's what's new.
Building prototypes just got conversational. Anthropic just launched Claude Design, a new research preview that lets you create slides, one-pagers, and functional prototypes by simply talking to Claude.
What is Claude Design?
Instead of manually coding every element, you describe what you want — and Claude builds it. It's powered by Claude Opus 4.7, the most capable vision model Anthropic has released to date.
The key differentiator: multi-modal output. You're not just getting text back. Claude Design can generate:
- Slides — describe a topic, get a presentation
- One-pagers — single-page docs or landing layouts
- Prototypes — interactive UI components you can actually test
Who Can Use It?
Claude Design is available now in research preview for:
- Pro plans
- Team plans
- Enterprise plans
It's rolling out throughout the day, so if you don't see it yet, hang tight.
Why This Matters
This marks a shift from AI as a tool to AI as a collaborator. Instead of prompts and iterations, you're having a dialogue. Describe intent, refine through conversation, and ship.
For designers, developers, and product folks, this could cut the iteration loop from hours to minutes.
The Bigger Picture
Anthropic is betting big on conversational interface design. If Claude Design proves successful, expect more modalities — maybe voice, maybe video, maybe full app scaffolding.
The question isn't whether to try it — it's whether your workflow is ready to change.
