Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before buying and installing Skills on ClawShelf.
What exactly is an OpenClaw skill?
A skill is a slash command for OpenClaw. It's a Markdown file that gives OpenClaw a reusable, expert-level instruction set. You run it by typing /skill-name directly inside OpenClaw.
Can I try ClawShelf before buying?
Yes. The free Starter Kit includes 2 curated skills and a quick start guide — no credit card needed. Paid packs start at $19 and include 5 skills each.
How do I install a skill?
Download the ZIP, unzip it into ~/.openclaw/skills/, and the skill is immediately available in OpenClaw. The whole process takes under two minutes. Each skill includes a SKILL.md with exact steps.
Which platforms and operating systems are supported?
All skills are 100% native to OpenClaw and compatible with OpenClaw-compatible runners on macOS, Linux, and Windows.
Do I get updates after purchasing?
Yes. Every purchase includes lifetime updates. Your download link stays active permanently, and we notify you by email whenever a skill is revised or a new version is released.
Can I sell my own OpenClaw skills here?
Not at this time. All Skills are curated and published by the ClawShelf team to ensure quality and security. Stay tuned for future updates.
What if a skill doesn't work or I have an issue?
Email [email protected] with your order details. Every skill is tested before listing, but if something goes wrong we'll either fix it or refund you.
